Background Story:
Erina used to be a normal girl, like any girl living in Utopia. Like most she had magical powers, though she developed them more quickly than others. Soon she was transferred to a school where children with lots of potential to be Precure get lessons. Again she surpassed most students and got stronger everyday, yet didn't transform or awaken her Precure powers. She got frustrated as she was very smart and strong yet was unable to turn into a Precure, something she wanted very badly, but she kept trying. At this time she was 17 years old.

After some months she grew tired of trying and eventually gave up, but continued going to school. At one point when a first year student suddenly awakened her power, without even trying, she broke down. She ran home very sad, and also very angry. At this time she was so angry she started attracting lots of dark energy. Not caring anymore, she let the dark energy into her body turning her into her "dark self"; Pumpkin Rose.

As Pumpkin Rose it is unknown what her plans are. She now hates pretty much anyone with magical powers, but Precures the most, even though she wanted to be one once.
